CÉCILE
VANNESTE
- ILLUSTRATOR -
Cécile is an artist who gleans moments, collects faces and creates social links.
She studied graphic design at the art school "le Septante cinq" in Brussels, followed by a master in printed images at Art2 in Mons. In constant exploration, she travels through many universes and frequents alternative places to feed her creations and provoke encounters.

As an illustrator of the world around her, she creates by paying attention to aesthetics, meaning and pleasure in her creative protocol.

Her work is varied, lively and colorful. Sensitive to the environment that surrounds her, she collects materials as she explores in order to transform them into new forms.
Cécile has been exploring silk-screening for several years. This technique allows her to explore multiple images but also to work on different supports and formats.
The handmade work and the choice of colors are the bases of her work.

She was a member of the "Ne Rougissez Pas" collective in Paris and worked in the educational workshops of plastic arts in Mulhouse. She had the opportunity to realize artistic research residences in Morlaix, Sète and Paris.
