After studying classical ballet at Maria de Avila and Victor Ullate conservatories, Erick started his dance career at Ballet Biarritz Junior/Dantzaz. That same year he joined Anatol Yanowsky’s GCB, after which he worked for four years at Ballet d’Europe. During those years he’s worked on repertory by choreographers such as Nacho Duato, Itzik Gailili, Jirí Kylián, Thomas Noone and Sharon Fridman.

 

In 2012 he started freelancing and working with Saar Magal and Lillian Stillwell amongst others, and with companies such as Tivoli Ballet Theater, Teater Vestvolden and Deutsche Oper Berlin.

In 2018, along with 5 other creators he initiated the Kollektiv 52.07; simultaneously having started research on somatic work. The combination of creating/performing and this research resulted in the 2021 collaboration with fellow Basque-born Oihana Varela for their piece “Ez”.
