In a world where music dictates emotions and every sound becomes an unpredictable force, Altered Frequencies – Augmented Edition is a 22-minute immersive solo performance that merges movement, video, and sound to explore heightened sensory perception and overstimulation. Inspired by the experience of Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), the piece delves into an amplified way of processing reality—where perception is intensified, emotions are raw, and the boundaries between inner and outer worlds blur.

The performance invites audiences to reflect on the power of empathy, inner listening, and the need to reclaim emotional space in a fast-paced society.
It also serves as the prototype for Alessia’s new upcoming project Alter-endipity, a 45-minute solo performance blending dance, sound, video, and voice. Currently in development, the project is supported by Iles - Artist Project selected for the artistic accompaniment SUITCASE, Théâtre Jardin Passion (Namur), Promo Jeunes (Brussels), Centre Culturel de Perwez and Teatro dei 3 Mestieri (Italy).
