Trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School for three years, Romain continued his studies at the International Institute of Stanlowa before joining the Royal Ballet School in London in 2009. After graduating in 2012, he went on to refine his training in the United States with various classical dance companies. In 2013, he joined the LaComa company for the creation of CARTEL by Michel Schweizer.
This artistic collaboration allowed him to discover his talent as an actor and his taste for cross-disciplinary projects. In 2014, he realized his dream by joining the Malandain Ballet Biarritz, where he spent five years working under one of France's most renowned choreographers.
In 2020, Romain joined the La Salle Blanche theater school, studying under Florient Azoulay and Xavier Gallais. Today, he nourishes a diverse identity, exploring baroque dance with Marie-Geneviève Massé, teaching classical dance at the Choisy-le-roi Conservatory, and pursuing his creative desires by combining body and voice. Romain uses musical works, existing poems, and personal writings to develop his choreographic universe. In 2018, in collaboration with Gaël Domenger, he created #Balancetonfaune to music by Alva Noto, and Le Grand Sacrifice to Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring in 2020. He is creating FRACTALE in 2024 as part of his training at the Fabrique de la Danse's choreographer incubator in Paris, from which he graduated in 2024. On this occasion, he created the company L’[IN]CONNU to host his new artistic projects.
