An Art That Doesn’t Stay
One day, a dancer told me a sentence that has kept making me think: "It’s good that our art is that — something that doesn’t stay."
An ephemeral art.
An art that disappears.
An art that lives in the bodies of dancers, that imprints itself in movements, gestures, breaths, on the skin.
That carries the traces of a relationship — to oneself, to others, to the environment, to the cosmos.
That brings worlds to life.
And then evaporates.
An art of presence, that brings us back to what is alive inside us, here, now.

Stéphanie is a self-taught filmmaker and photographer. She approaches her films and photos not as subjects, but as encounters — tributes to life, poetic and sensory journeys that celebrate the art of movement. Capturing the moment, the detail, coming close to reveal the stories our bodies are willing to tell.
