Mamadou will share an extract from the research he is undertaking for his first creation project: “Where shall I start, As if you didn't know” (working title) is a project that explores the multiplicity that constitutes us, as people who build ourselves from many references, origins and heritages, in spaces where norms dominate and differences are often silenced. Taking as its starting point the concept of interiority - the place from which intentions, intuitions and wishes are born - this project questions the potential for transcribing singular experiences, using personal and community languages, to offer space for choreographic expression that tells the story of bodies traversed by countless stories and to reassert the links between inside and outside, intimate and collective.
